Notice to Merchant Services Customers

U.S. payment providers including North Valley Bank are required by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to report sales information to the IRS about customers who receive payments for the sale of goods or services. You will be provided a Form 1099-K indicating your annual gross sales as reported to the IRS. To avoid back up withholding it is very important that we have the correct tax filing name and taxpayer ID number (TIN) on file.

We may contact you by mail or phone if we do not have a TIN/TFN or need to confirm the accuracy of your TIN/TFN. If you receive a letter requesting updated information, this does require immediate attention. Please fax the requested form to 707-268-0511 or call us at 866-714-8225 if you have questions regarding this reporting and validation of your tax information.
